If you have two All-on-4 quotes in front of you, look first for the line that describes the teeth you will have at the end of treatment. One clinic may have quoted through to the final ceramic bridge. Another may have given you the amount due at your first visit, when you receive temporary teeth. Both figures can be accurate, yet they answer different questions.
Work through a one-arch example
Suppose you are considering treatment for your upper jaw. Alisa Dental’s price list dated 15 October 2026 gives a Dentium example of USD 430 per implant. Four implants come to USD 1,720, including the abutments that connect the implants to the bridge. The temporary teeth add USD 200–350 and the final ceramic teeth add USD 1,200–2,500. That brings these three items to USD 3,120–4,570 for one arch, before any separately quoted procedures. Confirm the rate and the specific bridge proposed for you in a written estimate. See Alisa Dental’s price list and inclusions.
Put both estimates on the same page
Make two columns, one for each clinic. Copy the actual amount beside each of the following questions. If a line is blank, mark it “ask” rather than counting it as zero.
- Which jaw? Write down upper, lower or both. If both jaws are included, request a subtotal for each.
- Which teeth? Record the implant system, the temporary bridge and the material of the final bridge. Check whether the connecting parts are included.
- What is still undecided? If an extraction or graft appears as a possible extra, ask when the dentist can confirm it and how you will receive a revised estimate.
- When is payment due? Enter the amount due at booking, at surgery and at the final fitting. Check that deposits are credited towards the total.
Compare the cost of completing treatment
If you are travelling from Australia or Taiwan, keep the clinic’s figures in their original currency first. A dollar sign on Alisa’s price list means US dollars. Convert both totals to AUD or TWD on the same day, then list airfare and accommodation separately for each proposed visit. If you live in Hanoi, the more relevant question may be how many appointments you need to arrange around work.
Before booking, ask the clinic: “Which part of this quote could change after my examination, how much is due on each visit, and who should I contact if my bridge needs an adjustment after I go home?” Keep the dated reply with your estimate.
